1. Count out or remove a specific number of each of the 6 veggie cards based on the number of players.[1]
2. Shuffle all remaining cards and create three roughly equal draw piles with point card sides face up.[1]
3. Flip over two cards from each draw pile and place them in a column below the pile to create a veggie market.[1]
4. Randomly choose a start player.[1]
5. On your turn, draft one or more cards by either drafting one point card from the top of any draw piles or two veggie cards from the market.[2][3]
6. Add selected cards to a face-up tableau in front of yourself.[2][3]
7. Optionally, once per turn, you may flip one of your point cards over to turn it into a veggie card.[2][3]
8. Refill the veggie market by drawing cards from the corresponding draw piles in each column to fill empty slots, flipping them from the point side to the veggie side as they enter.[4]
9. If a point card draw pile runs out, split the largest pile roughly in half and move the bottom half to replace the empty pile, ensuring the top point card does not move.[4]
10. Continue play with the next player to the left.[4]
11. The game ends when all cards from both the point card piles and veggie market have been drafted.[4]
12. To determine the winner, players tabulate victory points by counting the value of each of their point cards and adding them together, considering their full tableau of veggie cards for each point card.[4]
13. If two players are tied in total victory points, the player who played later in the turn order wins.[4]
