How do I play?

Asked with: La Granja: Deluxe Master Setbg-341945-en-1e

Every round is played following 4 phases.[1]
Revenue Phase
1. The start player takes all revenue dice, rolls them, and places them to the left of the corresponding revenue spaces.[2]
2. In turn order, each player takes a die and places it on the left die space of their farm and performs the action depicted on the appropriate revenue space.[2]
3. When each player has done so, each player, in turn order, takes a second die, places it on the right die space of their farm and performs their second action.[2]
4. All players resolve the action of the single remaining die in turn order.[2]
5. During this phase, players may perform various actions, such as:
* Taking 1 pig and placing a marker on a pig stall stable space (selling the pig immediately if no empty space is available).[2]
* Playing a card, drawing a card, or taking a harvest good.[2]
* Taking 2 different harvest goods.[2]
* Taking 4 silver from the general supply.[2]
* Upgrading resources or advancing on the siesta track.[2]
* Carrying out 1 delivery or taking 2 silver.[2]
6. If the player is the start player (has player order marker 2), they choose one die, discard one die (the lowest number in rounds 1-3, or the highest in rounds 4-6), select a second die, and discard a second die, leaving one final die.[3]
7. If the player is not the start player, one die is discarded before the player selects a die according to the rule above.[3]
8. If a player removes a marker of the neutral player from the market, they receive 1 victory point per marker.[3]
Farm Phase
The Farm Phase consists of 4 steps, which are conducted by all players before the next step starts (though the first 3 may be conducted simultaneously once players are comfortable).[1]
1. Players place cards on their farm to serve different purposes:
* Left side: A field (tucked under the left side; enters the game empty).[1]
* Top slots: A market barrow (tucked under the top; used to supply goods for trade commodities and victory points).[1]
* Right side: A farm extension (tucked under the right side; provides benefits like extra income or larger hand size).[1]
* Bottom slots: A special helper (tucked under the bottom; provides special abilities).[1]
* Playing a card as a market barrow, helper, or field is always free.[1]
* Playing a card as a farm extension requires payment with farm goods.[4]
2. Each player may play 1 card and draw 1 or more new cards at the end of this step.[1]
3. Players receive new harvest goods on fields and offspring for pigs.[5]
4. Each player takes their income from the supply (silver, harvest goods, pigs, or trade commodities).[5]
5. At the end of this step, each player draws cards until their hand limit is reached.[5]
Transportation Phase
1. If the player is the start player, they carry out their complete Transportation Phase.[3]
2. If the player is not the start player, a card is drawn from the draw deck and the neutral player places a marker on a market space corresponding to the drawn card's victory point value before the player carries out their Transportation Phase.[3]
3. The neutral player removes as many markers of the player as possible (placing new markers far apart if there is a choice).[3]
4. If the player is the start player, one card is drawn from the draw deck after their phase.[3]
Scoring Phase
1. If a player reaches at least the third space of the siesta track, they are the first player in the next game round; otherwise, they play second.[3]

what this block IS: the PASSAGE SEARCH's own results — the same search that fills this page's closest-passages list — and NOT the passages the answerer read. Answering runs its OWN retrieval: a far wider candidate pool, re-ranked down to a final handful, plus floors this search never applies — the base rulebook, surviving errata corrections, and one slot per book on a multi-book read. Each of those armed only if THIS ask sent what it needs: the boost block names the ids it forwarded, and the scope line names the books it read. A document the answer CITES that no row here names is therefore EXPECTED, not a defect: two searches, two candidate pools, two orders. The answerer's own final rows are shown in their own block below, beside these and never mixed into them.

score = the fused retrieval score (reciprocal-rank fusion over the search arms) — NOT a cosine similarity. This ruling ran the THREE-ARM fuse (full-text + vector + the doc-priority boost arm, which carried the base rulebook and/or the errata corrections this query matched), whose arithmetic ceiling is 0.04918 — all three arms ranking the same chunk #1 (ceiling = arms/(k+1) at k=60). The measured healthy band 0.016–0.033 was measured on TWO-arm asks and does not bound this one: its high end is the two-arm ceiling, and a third arm has room above it. A chunk only one arm ranked highly lands near 0.016 (that one arm's #1 vote), so 0.03 here is an excellent hit, not a 3% match.

per-arm ranks (the rank each search arm gave a chunk): NOT DISCLOSED by the gateway. Fusion happens gateway-side and only the FUSED score crosses the wire, so rulesage cannot show them without a gateway change. The rank column below is the FUSED rank (position in the returned list), which is real.

token count per chunk: NOT DISCLOSED — chunk token counts are not reported on the ask path. The character counts below are of the bounded snippet/quote rulesage actually received — a real measurement of what we hold, never an estimate of the chunk.

what this block IS: the passages the ANSWERING read put in front of the answerer, in the order it read them — the other half of the two reads described above, and the one that decides what the answer could possibly say. Each row names the book it came from and where in that book it sits, what it scored when the search arms were fused, which arm carried it there, and whether the re-ranker chose it or a floor guaranteed it a slot. A row here that no passage-search row names is EXPECTED: a far wider pool, re-ranked, with floors the passage search never applies.

candidate pool: the answering read scored 32 passages, out of a ceiling of 80 set gateway-side. Both figures are reported by the gateway for THIS ask — measurements of what actually happened, not constants read out of anyone's source and printed here on faith.

floors armed for this ask: the base rulebook — armed · surviving errata corrections — not armed · one slot per book on a multi-book read — not armed. Every floor is stated on every ask, armed or not, so a floor that did not apply here is never mistaken for one this app does not know about.

arms fused for this ask: vector + full-text + the doc-priority boost arm. Stated separately from the rows because an arm that ran and carried nothing is a different fact from an arm that never ran.

watchdog
first-token watchdog: 30s per arming window (rulesage.table.first-token-watchdog-seconds), re-armed once by the passages frame — so the worst case before a reader falls back to polling is 60s. Whether it actually fired is a BROWSER-side decision that never reaches the server, so it is not recorded here. The stream path above is the server's half of that story: whether a delta was emitted at all.
num_ctx · think posture
both are the CHILD's settings, not rulesage's, and no ask reply carries them — an answer never states which context window or think posture produced it. The live-seat line above reads them from the running child instead, where the gateway can answer for itself; it describes the child NOW, not this ask.

this game registers NO errata cards (edition 567), so "no registered errata card matched" above could never have matched one

Errata scope: the gate above matched this ruling's own edition only. When an ask also reads an expansion, that expansion's own registered errata cards stay outside the match — a stated phase-1 limitation, not a failed lookup.
